Buscando encontre esta joya, el mismísimo día en que le dijeron adios a uno de los musicos más grandes de la historia y sin duda uno de los heroes sin disfraz que han pasado por este planeta simplemente para hacerlo un mejor planeta. Quizá ya lo vieron, pero como no poner este comercial si seguro se convertirá en un hito más de la publicidad mundial, acá las razones según mi criterio:

1. El concepto es una reinvención inteligente del concepto original "just do it", no quiero decir que lo reemplaza, pero si construye para la misma dirección - consistencia.

2. La manufactura es increíble - Gonzalez Iñarritu un grande

3. Para mi la más importante; Se evidencio el nacimiento de la publicidad por web (youtube). Acá me quiero explayar un poco. Es que este comercial tiene 3 minutos y como es lógico no podrá soportar una pauta muy grande en ninguna parte del mundo, sin embargo youtube será su casa y está será visitada por millones. A favor la posibilidad de meter más de una historia, otra dejar que la gente que ya vive en internet se quede en ella yendo a nikefootball.com.

En resumen nike una vez más hizo que su ideología cobre sentido haciendo algo innovador para lo que se necesita muchos huevos.

Este video la verdad que lo vi primero en los Oscars y luego gracias a la magia de Youtube lo encontre. Me pareció increíble, sentí que la publicidad realmente está en nuestras vidas tanto como el aire, lo cual me hizo reflexionar en la seriedad con la que se debe hacer la publicidad tanto de parte de las agencias como de las mismas marcas. I first saw this video on the broadcast of the Oscars, and then thanks to the magical Youtube, I found it again. I thought it was amazing and felt that advertising really is as part of our lives as the air we breathe, which made me realize that advertising always should be done seriously by both brands, and agencies.

Leaving responsibility aside, I thought it was kinda crazy to see Ronald McDonald playing a thief...what will McDonald's say? (You can see the other parts on youtube)

Este video que hoy circula por muchas computadoras en el Perú tiene la peculiaridad de hacer que la gente se pregunte, será verdad o será publicidad. Bueno yo en verdad no puedo estar seguro. Por un lado siento que es raro que sea una acción publicitaria y la usen 2 meses después, pero luego también siento que se ve tan programado el texto que pareciera que no es espontáneo. Lo interesante acá es que no importa si es o no publicidad, sino lo que podría hacer una marca como Taca con poco dinero, alto impacto y mucha creatividad. Es decir si no es publicidad un aplauso y si lo es, doble aplauso.

This video is roaming through many Peruvians PC'S. Why? It's making people wonder "is this true? or is it an advertising move?" Well, honestly, I'm not sure. On one hand I feel it's weird that this is a brand move because it happened 2 months ago. On the other hand I feel that the speech seems a bit prepared and hardly spontaneous. The thing that's really interesting is that it doesn't matter if its advertising or not, what REALLY matters is this: how could a brand like TACA do with such a small budget, notorious impact and a lots of creativity. So, if this is real I applaud and if it's an advertising move double applause.

Es eso lo que esta haciendo que el mundo se vaya a la mierda, la poca capacidad que tenemos de darnos cuenta que algo no anda bien, cuando es tan obvio.

Este video lo vi hace tiempo, pero hoy viendo que poner me lo volví a encontrar y pensé; ¿habrá gente que no lo haya visto? Así que decidí postear sobre el. Soy padre hace pocos años; aún no entiendo mucho, pero este comercial me ha hecho pensar que nunca lo voy a entender, tan sólo lo podre sentir. Gran idea para una marca que ya entendió que los padres buscan lo mejor para sus hijos y eso no es necesariamente un detergente que deje la ropa blanca, sino que los entienda y los ayude a ser mejores padres.

I´ve been a dad for a few years now, I really don´t understand so much about it yet. But this commercial has made me think that I will never understand what being a dad means, I will just get to feel it. This is a great idea for a Brand that has already understood that parents always look for the best for their kids and that is not necessarily a detergent that makes clothes whiter, but a brand that understands them and helps them to be better parents.

Se viene el mundial y nosotros seguimos sin ir. Tengo 34 años y la última vez que Perú fue a uno no tenía la capacidad de almacenar bien el recuerdo, claro no sabía que no volvería a ir en tanto tiempo. Lo que más me molesta es no saber que se siente gritar goooool, no se que se siente por unos segundos abrazarte con cualquier peruano y celebrar. Puede sonar confuso, pero me pregunto que le pasa a los jugadores peruanos, cuando yo era niño sólo soñaba con jugar fútbol en un mundial y ellos que podrían hacerlo no lo sueñan y menos lo hacen realidad.

Bueno al menos nos queda nuestra comida, campeona del mundo.

Hoy viernes me puse a buscar que colgar hoy y de suerte encontre este video de Quicksilver que me parece fantastico, hay que tener huevos muy grandes para hacer una locura como esta. Lo bueno es que es un claro ejemplo de como hacer para que te vean más de un millón de personas con muy poca plata. No creo que lo viral reemplaze a la publicidad tradicional, pero hay que reconocer que hoy ya es más que un complemento.

Today friday I was looking what to post and fortunately I founded this Quicksilver video that is fantastic. A brand need to have big balls to make such a crazy stuff. The good thing is that this is a clear example of how to reach a million persons with a little budget. I dont believe that virals are going to replace traditional advertising, but we have to recognize that they are not just a complement.

Felicidad, alegria, pureza y más es lo que este grupo de música genera a mi alrededor cuando lo escucho. Se llama Orba Squara y es literalmente lo máximo aunque no se qué es mejor su música o su site (orbasquara.com). Bueno cuando ahora lo escuchaba pensaba que bien se siente uno cuando comparte algo, así que hoy me siento muy bien porque se que está canción será la excusa perfecta para que quien vea este espacio dibuje una sonrisa y vea este día con una mejor cara.

Its name is Orba Squara and its literally amazing, the thing I am not sure is whats best their music or their website (orbasquara.com). When I was listening this song I thought to myself how well you feel when you share something, thats why today I feel very good and happy because I know this song is gonna be the perfect excuse for the visitors of this space for them to draw a smile and see this day with a better face.

Es un avión!! no es un pajaro!! no es superman!! no es un loco con traje de ardilla que salto desde la punta de un cerro!! Esto es de verdad algo que se ganó el derecho de llamarse increíble. Nunca pense que íba a ver a un ser humano volando. Hoy termine de hacerme fan de la marca Red bull, ella no para de sorprenderme, ha logrado acercarme a la adrenalina de una manera que ninguna otra marca lo había hecho. Con cada locura que se atreve a auspiciar me despierta y me hace sentir que el hombre es más valiente de lo que uno piensa.

It´s an airplane!! no it´s a bird!! no it´s superman!! no it´s a crazy guy with a squirrel costume who jumped from the top of a cliff. This really won the title of being called amazing. I never thought that I was going to see a human flaying until today. From now I consider myself a huge fan of Red Bull, this brand doesn't stop surprising me by putting the adrenaline closest than any other brand.

With every single crazy stuff this they sponsored they wake me up and make me feel that humans are much more brave than I thought.

The Superwhowl

No soy un gran fanatico del football americano, pero como buen amante del deporte se lo basico y dentro de ese conocimiento está la importancia del Superbowl; que particularmente tiene para mi una composición especial de fenomenos, primero los comerciales más caros del mundo (no siempre los mejores), segundo un partido de football americano y tercero, quizá lo más llamativo un increíble medio tiempo con un espectáculo alucinante; este año le toco a los mostros de The Who.

Lo único que me sorprende es que ninguna marca haya usuado al show como plataforma de comunicación, me hubiese parecido innolvidable ver a coca cola en ese show de luces.

I am not a huge football fan, but like any sports fan I know the basics about football, that includes the knowledge about the importance of the Superbowl, that particularly have a special composition, first it have the TV commercials, the most expensive in the world, not always the best ones. Second the football game itself and third, maybe the most eye-catching the spectacular half-time show. This year was the turn of the amazing band The Who.

The thing that surprised me was that no brand had use the show as a communication platform, I would loved to see Coke using that show of lights.

No puedo imaginarme un mundo sin música, la música es todo, es el soundtrack de nuestras vidas. Pero hasta donde puede llegar la imaginación de la gente cuando se trata de la música?

Este es una gran ejemplo de como practicamente todo puede ser convertido en música, yo antes había visto a Stomp, The Blue Man Group y otros, pero Vegetales?? eso si que no lo había visto nunca antes. Vale la pena escucharlos y obvio también comerlos.

I can´t imagine a world without music, music is everything, it´s the soundtrack of our life's.

But which are the limits of the imagination when it comes to music?

This is a great example about how anything can turn into music, before this I have seen Stomp, The Blue Man Group and others, but never seen vegetables making music.

They are worthy to listen and obviously to eat them too.

Cuando veo comerciales como este me siento bien de ser publicista, son estos comerciales los que demuestran que la publicidad es un motor que puede ayudar a la sociedad y no sólo una industria que le vende a la gente cosas que no necesita. Acá una reflexión; la publicidad es un reflejo de las marcas y sobre todo de la gente que está detras de ellas. Entonces por eso hay buena publicidad que hace al mundo mejor y mala publicidad que simplemente quiere vender.

When I see ads like this I feel proud of working in advertising, this are the ads that proof that advertising can be a engine that helps society to be better and not only an industry that sells to people things that they don´t need. Here is a thought: Advertising is just a mirror of brands and even more a mirror of the people that is behind the brands. For that is that their is good advertising that makes the world better and the bad one that just want to sell.

Este video en verdad no lo encontre hoy (jaja) un poco incongruente con el blog no? Pero que importa, lo que es importante es ver que hay una verdad que nunca falla; si juntas cosas exitosas, lo más probable es que logres algo MUY EXITOSO.

Cuando vi este video no sólo me reí, sino también entendí que lo simple es lo más díficil de hacer y por eso es tan valorado por la gente. Claro a nadie se le había ocurrido hacer algo tan simple como preguntarse donde almuerza Darth Vader?

Me pregunto donde almorzaran los jedis.

I really didn´t found this video today (lol) thats a little bit unconsistent with the name of the blog isn´t it? But it doesn´t matter, what is important is that here we have one big thruth: if you mix two successful things, you get one hell of a successful video.

When I saw this video I din´t just laughed but I also understood that simple things aren´t easy to do and thats why people like them so much. Of course nobody thought before something so simple like where do Darth Vader have launch.

I wonder where do jedis have launch?
